"Gemstone Bibimbap" is a family drama about four siblings named Emerald, Gemstone, Coral, and Amber. Just as bibimbap is made with a variety of ingredients, it offers viewers a rich and fulfilling autumn weekend feast. The production team stated that "Gemstone Bibimbap" tells the story of four children—Emerald, Gemstone, Coral, and Amber. The question arises: when different gemstones are mixed together, do they really become more beautiful? When these gemstones collide, they might even break. From the parents' perspective, all their children are equally dear to them. Thus, the family is likened to bibimbap. It suggests that if family members coordinate well, they can become fine adornments; however, without sufficient harmony, they may lose their luster. "Gemstone Bibimbap" presents diverse stories from each family member, explaining the significance of the show's title.

The father, Gong Sang-chul, works as a long-time doorman in a hotel and is portrayed by veteran actor Han Jin-hee. The mother, Pi Hye-in (translated), played by Han Hye-sook, is full of vanity and often causes trouble. The eldest daughter, Emerald, portrayed by Ko Na-eun, appears upright but inwardly hopes to meet a wealthy man for a better life. The male lead is played by Lee Tae-kwon, who collaborates with Ko Na-eun. The second daughter, portrayed by So Ri-hyun, shares her sister’s belief that escaping poverty means finding a successful man. The son, Coral, dreams of becoming a prosecutor and is played by Lee Hyun-joon. The youngest son, Amber, an astute high school student, is portrayed by newcomer Lee Il-min.

The weekend special TV series "Gemstone Bibimbap" will air following "Our Friend's Legend" on the scheduled date.
