The Story of Eliminating Bandits in the Gobi Desert

The latest anti-bandit TV series "Gobi Anti-Bandit Chronicles" features all episodes with Niu Ben, Shen Junyi, Zhao Xiaorui, and Zhang Bing as leading actors. In the plot introduction of "Gobi Anti-Bandit Chronicles", a remaining force of the Nationalist Party is led by Lieutenant Colonel Ouyang Jun, the deputy commander of the Nationalist Women's Independent Brigade, who attempts to join forces with the Western Xinjiang troops to continue opposing the people. Ouyang Jun leads more than a hundred remnants of his forces to the edge of what is known as the Thousand Mile Gobi Desert. A certain regiment of our army, while pursuing this group of bandits, suddenly receives a call from the Field Army to quickly support the Huaihai Campaign. Commander Guo orders the reconnaissance company of this regiment to form an anti-bandit task force, led by Captain Shang Zixi, to conduct reconnaissance and annihilate this group of stubborn bandits at the opportune moment. Ouyang Jun continues to wreak havoc with her remaining forces; villages along the way are completely looted. Young villagers out hunting learn of the situation and vow revenge, joining the anti-bandit ranks. To avoid pursuit, Ouyang Jun splits her forces into three groups heading west. The other two groups are wiped out by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) anti-bandit task force. Ouyang Jun, leading only over a dozen bandit soldiers, hastily flees westward. The PLA reconnaissance task force pursues them relentlessly. The bandits, suffering from hunger and thirst in the desert, are met by PLA reconnaissance personnel who decisively kill several bandits and capture the rest. Seeing that all hope is lost, Ouyang Jun desperately tries to escape but is killed by Bai Ling who arrives just in time.
