Old Abrad had been a manager at the airport in Amman, the capital of Jordan, for decades. He was very eager to personally learn about the world beyond Jordan but regretfully never had the chance to travel. One day, a group of poor children living near the airport approached him. They thought he was an experienced pilot and so they begged him to tell them stories about the outside world. Old Abu then used his imagination to make up stories and did his best to make them happy. A friendship gradually grew between the old man and the children. However, the old man also came to understand the harsh realities of the children's living environment. He decided to help them change the unchanging lifestyle that had been passed down from generation to generation.
