The film "Devil's Killer Archive," adapted from Mario Mendoza's eponymous psychological thriller novel, was directed by a new Columbian director and became one of the hottest movies last year. The novel itself is based on a massacre that occurred years ago in Bogota, the capital of Colombia, where a Vietnam War veteran killed several strangers, most of whom he did not know, before committing suicide. The Wikipedia entry states that there were a total of 10 victims, and the killer was shot dead by the police.

The film tells the stories of different characters: a mother who kills her three children, a priest who wishes to remain loyal to God, Paula who is forced into prostitution, an English teacher who was once a Vietnam soldier, and her female student Natalia. In a world overshadowed by their inner fears, desires, pain, and external temptations, they all struggle, searching for love, redemption, and a second chance. However, ultimately, their selfishness and insecurities lead to their final downfall.
