Transforming suit
Takuro Ohki, a 27-year-old bachelor, runs a small restaurant called "Coeur" that was left to him by his late mother. Takuro is of upright character, kind-hearted, and possesses top-notch cooking skills, having even studied in Italy. However, despite these qualities, his chubby appearance leaves him with little romantic success. One day, a young and beautiful woman named Kanako arrives at Coeur seeking employment. Takuro falls in love with her at first sight, but after mustering the courage to confess his feelings, he is easily rejected. Soon after, Kanako leaves Coeur.
Feeling extremely disheartened due to his looks, Takuro stumbles upon a peculiar suit shop near the station. There, he acquires a magical suit that transforms him into a handsome man whenever he wears it. After putting on the suit, Takuro becomes a shining star and debuts as a popular model under the stage name "Kyōhei Kozan." Despite his new career, Takuro still pines for Kanako and, donning the suit again, he finds and re-confesses to her. Unluckily, he is rejected once more.
Although not favored by Kanako, Takuro, now transformed into Kyōhei Kozan, becomes the center of attention for women. Top model Reika begins to approach him, marking the first time he has ever won the affection of a beautiful woman. Feeling like he's living a dream, Takuro returns to his small restaurant where a cheerful new helper, Honae, has taken Kanako's place. Gradually, Honae, who consistently supports him, enters Takuro's heart.
Balancing his dual identities as a restaurant owner and a famous model, Takuro increasingly finds Kyōhei Kozan's glamorous life more appealing than his own reality. He discovers that the transforming suit reverts him back to his original form when wet. When he revisits the mysterious suit shop, the owner presents him with a perfect water-resistant suit. However, this suit cannot be removed once worn, forcing Takuro to make an irreversible choice: abandon his friends and life at Coeur to continue as the adored model Kyōhei Kozan or return to his true self—a chubby man with no romantic luck.

As Kyōhei Kozan, Takuro lives in a world of admiration, even attracting the attention of top model Reika (played by Mayumi Sada). For the first time, he experiences the affection of a beautiful woman, making him feel as though he is dreaming. Returning to his restaurant, Takuro meets a new assistant, Honae (played by Yuko Ōshima). Though not particularly intelligent, Honae excels at her work and brings a sense of calm to Takuro's life. Gradually, he begins to care for her.

One day, when his magical suit gets wet, he notices it wrinkles and becomes unappealing. Returning to the mysterious suit shop, he learns about a waterproof suit that, once worn, cannot be removed. Facing this final decision, Takuro must choose between discarding his life at Coeur and becoming the perpetually admired model Kyōhei Kozan or embracing his true identity and accepting a life without romantic success.
