Post-Image, beautify your summary

Bloggers who use the Chinese toolbox of Sang Linzhi or Yskin CJK-excerpt to generate post summaries often find that on the blog's homepage, there is a large number of post summaries with text connected front and back without a single picture, which can be rather monotonous. Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words and can grab attention. For example, I have a post about the secrets of "Journey to the West," and if there is an accompanying image of "Journey to the West" (in fact, there is an illustration in the article), it would stand out immediately among a bunch of summaries.

Most summary plugins remove all HTML tags except for text. That's fine; if we can extract an image from the full text containing illustrations and display it as a thumbnail, we can edit the index template and place the thumbnail in the top-left corner of the summary.

After browsing online, I finally found the plugin I needed: Post-ImagePost-Image.
