Trifling matters

Esmeralda, a girl, has an unusual idea. She collects things that strangers have lost, forgotten, and abandoned, hiding them in a box under her bed. The film tells the stories of three items in the box and their owners. In a way, they share a common point: they are unable to get in touch with the ones they love the most. The film also tells the story of the box itself - how Esmeralda learned to open it, sense, and store people's most precious things: relationships.
