Besides the acquisition of aQuantive, Microsoft's recent hotspot is probably the launch of a new Web 2.0 project named "Popfly" on May 18th. Users can conveniently create their own web pages, mashups, widgets, etc., through Popfly, and these can be integrated into Microsoft's existing social networking platforms. Currently, Popfly is still in the internal testing phase, and users can only use this service, which is still in the Alpha stage, after receiving an invitation from the Popfly Team.
