Do you remember the IMhaha internet communication tool? Now there's a similar one called IMO. Although its interface is simple, it integrates four common IM protocols: AIM, Yahoo! IM, MSN, and GTalk. It's based on AJAX technology, with login, contact list, and chat windows all in one interface. The login speed is decent, but unlike IMhaha, it doesn't allow multiple accounts to be online simultaneously for synchronized chatting.
