The boss: Sun Jianbo - He graduated from Peking University's Department of Information Management, the same as Baidu's Robin Li. In 1999, he was admitted to Tsinghua University's School of Journalism and Communication to directly pursue a Ph.D. In 2003, he became tired of the monotonous life in the academic ivory tower and decided to take a leave of absence to start a business, becoming one of the few student entrepreneurs at Tsinghua at the time. In early 2005, he transitioned into wireless interactive entertainment, starting the mobile Xifan website with very little initial capital along with his university classmates, and obtained venture capital investment in May 2006.
