The much-anticipated Firefox Mobile (code-named Fennec) has not yet had a public beta release, leaving many Windows Mobile users waiting eagerly. Finally, Mozilla recently released the first version of Firefox for Windows Mobile, Alpha 1.

Although the release date has been delayed repeatedly, it is still worth the wait. This version includes more new features added to Firefox, such as a completely rewritten user interface in full CSS format, which supports more screen formats. This means that when higher resolution or oddly proportioned screens appear in the future, no further modifications will be needed. On the other hand, this version of Firefox also begins to support add-ons with gesture operation modules. However, this version is quite large, with a .cab package size of 9MB and requiring 25MB of installation space. Users should ensure their devices have enough space before trying it out. Moreover, its operating speed is not particularly fast, but this is just the Alpha 1 version, not even in the beta stage yet, so let's wait and see.
