Zhejiang Plan to Introduce 25,000 Experts from Overseas in 2009_Wenzhou Vocational Training Network

In 2009, the Foreign Experts Bureau of Zhejiang Province recently expressed that it plans to introduce 25,000 experts from overseas to work in Zhejiang throughout the year and implement 450 within-plan intelligence引进 projects. Among them, there are 60 key national and provincial intelligence引进 projects to enhance economic competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities.

Through introducing overseas experts and projects, the main focus is on adjusting structures to promote transformation. Emphasizing efficient ecological agriculture to deepen and refine the primary industry; emphasizing advanced manufacturing to elevate and optimize the secondary industry; emphasizing modern services to expand and strengthen the tertiary industry.

The Foreign Experts Bureau of Zhejiang Province expressed that the whole province should strongly support professional and technical talent team building. It plans to organize 38 technical training projects abroad (or in other regions), sending out about 700 people for training. It will also implement the international talent cultivation plan for modern service industries, breaking through with modern clinical medicine, intellectual property rights, and international accounting business. In conjunction with relevant departments, it will carry out the first batch of high-end service industry talent training.

At the same time, it actively strengthens communication and contact with employers, establishing and improving the information database of overseas high-level talents. It provides high-quality consultation and liaison services for overseas high-level talents who wish to work in China, opening channels for self-recommendation of overseas talents, and actively participating in the implementation of the "Overseas High-Level Talent Introduction Plan." Gradually establish a Zhejiang Provincial Overseas High-Level Talent Intelligence Introduction Workstation to achieve information connectivity of talents and intelligence at home and abroad, increasing the effective supply of overseas high-level talents.

In 2009, Zhejiang Province will strive to successfully hold events such as the recruitment activity for overseas high-level talents in North America, the cooperation and exchange activities of high-end service industry talents between Zhejiang and Hong Kong held in Hong Kong, the "Foreign Talent Recruitment Fair and Yangtze River Delta Foreign Cultural and Educational Experts Supply and Demand Meeting," and the negotiation meeting for the introduction of overseas high-level talents and intelligence at the 11th Zhejiang Investment and Trade Fair.
