The website Slide, which offers free online slide creation, has launched a Chinese version!
Although the localization into Chinese is rather poor (in my personal opinion) - it's supposed to be Simplified Chinese, but Traditional characters still pop up occasionally, or some parts remain completely in English. However, something is better than nothing, and I believe the Slide team is actively working on improving the Chinese interface. Full localization is just a matter of time! The incomplete localization hasn't diminished Slide's excellent service: it allows you to turn your photos into Flash-based albums, express yourself through these albums, let your friends enjoy your pictures, all for free and very simply!
Creating slideshows on Slide is incredibly easy: you can select images stored on your computer. If that seems troublesome to you or if your photos are already online, such as on Flickr, you can simply input your Flickr username, and Slide will automatically retrieve your photos from Flickr for you to choose from. Alternatively, you can even just provide the image URLs. How convenient is that? Additionally, Slide provides various templates and special effects to beautify your slideshow. If you wish, Slide can also store your photos, making it a good choice to use as an album. It’s worth noting that both Slide's slideshows and photos can be embedded externally without any limits.
