In the 1970s, researchers at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) developed the first GUI graphical user interface, ushering in a new era of computer graphics. Since the 1980s, the interface design of operating systems has undergone many changes. OS/2, Macintosh, Windows, Linux, Symbian OS, various operating systems have brought GUI design into a new era. This paper introduces the evolution history of GUI interface design for various operating systems since the 1980s.
