Speaking of Digg, for those in IT, this might already be very familiar. But for us regular internet users, there may be few who have heard of it. I think Digg is a pretty cool new web phenomenon, so I want to introduce it here and hope that a Digg craze also appears domestically.

Digg adopts a user-driven (user driven) mechanism. It sets up a news feed buffer where user-submitted news first enters this buffer. If enough readers agree with the news (Digg uses a democratic voting-like method to express support and approval for the news, this process is called digg), it will stand out from the buffer and appear on the Digg page; otherwise, it will gradually be squeezed out of the news feed buffer. To put it more intuitively, Digg delegates power to users, allowing users to decide which news is the most popular.

Due to the high degree of user autonomy, as well as effective integration with blogs and websites, Digg responds very quickly to the latest online information. For example, a newly emerged online service begins to distribute invitations, an online service has important updates, or a new product debuts, etc. Anyone can submit any interesting information to Digg (information input), anyone can comment on or vote on this information (information processing), and anyone can publish this information through Digg to their own blog or website (information output). Due to a large number of users using Digg's services for news information input, processing, and output, Digg's users and web traffic have grown explosively in just a few short months.
