zSHARE

zSHARE is a fairly popular free file hosting website abroad. The service itself does not have many unique features: it supports most software; individual file upload limit is 100MB; files without any downloads within 10 days will be deleted. Since its revenue comes from Adsense ads, it does not provide direct file links. Although it does not have any outstanding features, zSHARE is one of the longest surviving free file hosting sites in my opinion. Due to similar image hosting services like imageshack and imagevenue having individual file limits of 1-1.5MB, zSHARE is mainly used abroad for storing large images as it supports thumbnail BB Code link output.

However, the original zSHARE has always been somewhat discriminatory towards domestic users. After clicking on the link, only ads would appear and the actual file could not be downloaded. Therefore, downloading files from zSHARE domestically required a proxy or "onion" assistance. Recently, zSHARE seems to be less strict towards Chinese users. File links can now be opened and downloaded normally, and the speed is not too slow. Uploading is also normal, with acceptable speed. Hopefully, this situation can continue.
