New Features and Functions in Photoshop CS3:
1. The biggest change in Photoshop CS3 is the toolbox, which has become resizable and can be either a long single column or a short double column.
2. The switching methods for Quick Mask mode and screen toggle mode on the toolbox have also been changed.
3. There's an additional group selection mode in the options for the selection tools on the toolbox, allowing you to choose between selecting groups or individual layers.
4. The toolbox now includes the Quick Selection Tool, which is essentially a faster version of the Magic Wand. It allows you to add selections without any shortcut keys, and by holding it down, you can select areas as if you were painting. There are three modes available in the options bar: new, add, and subtract. This tool makes it very intuitive and fast to select images with significant color differences.
5. All selection tools now include an option to redefine the selection edge (Refine Edge), such as defining the radius, contrast, and feathering of the edges. You can contract or expand the selection area. Additionally, there are multiple display modes available, like Quick Mask mode and Mask mode, making it very convenient. For example, after creating a simple feathering effect, you can directly preview and adjust different feathering values. Familiar feathering commands in the Select menu have thus become obsolete.
6. Panels can be minimized into elegant icons, somewhat similar to CorelDraw's dockable windows or Flash's collapsed panels. However, this feature is cooler with two levels of contraction, feeling absolutely great!
7. A new "Clone Source" panel has been added, used in conjunction with the Clone Stamp tool. It allows you to define multiple clone sources (sample points), much like how Word has multiple clipboard contents. Additionally, the clone source can be overlaid for previewing, providing specific sample coordinates. You can perform editing operations such as shifting, scaling, rotating, and blending on the clone source. The clone source can target one layer, two adjacent layers, or all layers, adding a new mode compared to previous versions.
8. In Adobe Bridge previews, you can use a magnifying glass to zoom in on parts of an image, and this magnifying glass can be moved and rotated. If multiple images are selected at the same time, they can all be previewed together, which is incredibly cool.
9. Adobe Bridge has added Acrobat Connect functionality for hosting online meetings. Its predecessor was Breeze from Macromedia.
10. Bridge can now directly view videos in Flash FLV format. Additionally, Bridge starts up much faster than CS2 and CS versions, with no sluggishness or "freezing" sensation.
11. In Bridge, when multiple images are selected, pressing Ctrl+G will stack multiple images together, which can be expanded by a single click anytime. This is useful for saving space.
12. The New dialog box has added preset size options for directly creating web pages, videos, and mobile content. For example, common web banner sizes and typical mobile screen dimensions!
Usage: Run "Green.bat" to use normally, and run "Uninstall.bat" to remove the system additions made during the greening process!
