OpenOffice was originally Sun Microsystems' commercial-grade Office software, called StarOffice. After Sun Microsystems open-sourced the code, it was officially named the OpenOffice development project. It is maintained by many individuals who are passionate about free software, providing an alternative to MS OFFICE, allowing users to have access to a free Office suite. Although the official website does not offer a Chinese version, you can see build9358 in the version information, which is the same as the official English version.
