Sysinternals has released a Windows virtual desktop application that, at first glance, resembles the default multi-desktop environment in Linux systems. However, Sysinternals' Microsoft Desktop Environment is extremely resource-efficient, consuming only 4MB of memory, and users can quickly switch between desktops using shortcut keys, just like switching desktops in a Linux system.
