The "dual-core" browser from Japan, Sleipnir, allows free switching between the Trident and Gecko engine cores. It enables each website to be rendered using different cores, thus avoiding the troublesome issue of compatibility. Mozilla Firefox uses Gecko, while Microsoft IE is powered by Trident.
