Microsoft releases 10 security patches to fix 28 vulnerabilities

Microsoft has just released its scheduled October security patches. However, there are only 10 patches instead of the previously mentioned 11. Among these 10 security patches, 5 target Windows, 4 target Office, and 1 targets .NET Framework; 6 are rated critical, 1 important, 2 moderate, and 1 low severity. Unfortunately, contrary to yesterday's rumors, there is no official release of IE7.
