After my mother stopped working on collecting these KH930, she hoped I could repair it. The previous owner used the needle for other mechanical spare parts, which is why it's not in the photo. You don't need to disassemble the needle for repair. Always unplug the knitting machine, or any electrical device for that matter, before opening it! Turning the switch on and off (when unplugged) several times can help discharge any electronic components that may hold a charge. Although I had no problems with this repair on BOPP film, I will not be responsible for any injuries sustained while conducting such repairs. The most basic skills needed involve soldering, and if you've never used a soldering iron before, it's quite easy to learn. Just grab an inexpensive good tip soldering iron (around $10), and I believe you'll do just fine! I'll try to get a video online soon showing the basic skills required. This model also works well when fixed, and I think any capable person can lead that plug directly into one side of the knitting large circular machine. None use "plug pack" or "power adapter". The 230/240/250v AC models should have the same parts as 110v, though I don't think the capacitor value would be the same. So you have a Brother KH930 knitting machine, you let the smoke out, and now it won't turn on, beep, start, power up, or respond to any bumps and curses. As generally considered, all electrical products actually run on smoke, and once it's out, the project won't work. I found this to be some small capacitors in this published smoke knitting large circular machine.
