Chutian Metropolis Daily News (Reporters Zhou Peng, Chen Yong) - A bundle of unknown objects was found tied to the chassis of a sedan, with neither the driver nor the car owner aware of it. Due to suspicions that the object might be a bomb, the vehicle caused a false alarm yesterday while being repaired beside the Guanxi Community in the East Lake New Technology Development Zone.

At around 3 PM yesterday, Mr. Yu, a mechanic at Wuhan Y Wanlong Automobile Service Co., Ltd., located beside the Guanxi Community, noticed a bundle of black unidentified objects tied to the bottom of a blue two-door Citroen C4. The object had three layers: a black block closest to the car's bottom, a middle section resembling a small cigarette box, and an outer small cube with a protruding wire featuring a signal indicator light. "What is this thing?" Mr. Yu asked the sedan's driver, who also did not know. Since the shape of the object resembled a time bomb seen in movies, Mr. Yu immediately stopped work and urged the driver to call the police right away.

Soon after, the police and bomb disposal experts arrived at the scene. After a careful inspection, they ruled out the possibility of it being a bomb. The bomb disposal experts then removed the unknown object from the car's chassis and carefully disassembled it layer by layer on the ground. They preliminarily determined that it was a device similar to a signal tracker.

Mr. Liu, the car owner who subsequently arrived at the scene, explained that he had lent his car to a friend for use, and both of them are office workers. Neither of them knew who had tied the unknown object to the car's chassis or what their intentions were.

Currently, the Hongshan Police Station is still investigating the matter further.
