Several witnesses at the scene said that the truck driver ignored the woman's cries and beating on the vehicle as she tried to crawl out from under the car, and continued driving forward. Because someone had been run over, the car couldn't move forward. After hearing about a major incident at the gang's restaurant, the police locked onto the situation and the driver returned. The driver then stepped on the gas again, running over the person, driving straight for one or two meters until he was stopped by a taxi ahead.

This case was not announced in court.

According to reports (by reporter Pei Xiaolan), after the truck driven by Tao Genhe collided with a motorcycle carrying a family of three, he continued driving despite the cries and beatings on the vehicle by the woman trying to crawl out from underneath. This resulted in a father and son under the car being crushed to death. Yesterday, Tao Genhe, suspected of intentional homicide, was put on trial at the No. 2 Intermediate People's Court in the city. He denied the charges and made numerous excuses for himself.

Additionally, after reporting the incident, Tao Genhe left the scene. The prosecutor asked him: "Why didn't you provide assistance at the scene?" He replied: "I was afraid of being beaten."

According to the testimony of Ms. Dong, the wife of Mr. Zhao, at the time she was holding her 5-year-old son, sitting on the backseat of the motorcycle. When the accident occurred, she briefly lost consciousness. Upon regaining it, she discovered that all three of them were under the truck. At that moment, the vehicle was stationary, her husband lying face down on the ground with his left arm crushed under the wheel, while her son sat on the ground crying.

The prosecution believes that Tao Genhe is suspected of intentional homicide, but Tao Genhe does not accept this accusation. He claimed that he only saw the motorcycle fall from the rearview mirror; he neither heard nor felt any collision. So, he continued driving forward until he felt something was wrong and could no longer drive, then stopped. Afterwards, he saw a woman beating on the window behind his car and shouting. Then he got out of the car. When he saw a big and small figure lying under his car, he called 122 to report the incident.

Before the incident, Tao Genhe was driving a scrapped cloned truck for transportation. The prosecution charged that on the evening of March 27 last year around 7 pm, Tao Genhe drove near Lugou Bridge in Fengtai District where his truck collided with the motorcycle driven by Mr. Zhao, causing Mr. Zhao and his wife and child riding on the motorcycle to fall under the truck.

Ms. Dong said that after crawling out from under the car and pulling others out, the truck started moving at that moment. She heard her husband shout for help, so she also shouted and beat on the car body all the way to the window of the driver's side. She saw the driver look back at her once, but did not stop, instead continuing to step on the gas and running over her husband and son, resulting in the deaths of both father and son.

Tao Genhe said that after the incident, he contacted his wife and a friend. His friend advised him to surrender, but he was still shaken at the time. Thus, he turned himself in to the public security authorities the next day.
