The University of Western Ontario (UWO Consulting QQ: 2644409706) has, since 2009, for the first time opened up a dual admission program without requiring TOEFL or IELTS scores. The requirements for applying to the main campus's dual admission program are as follows: 1) Current or previous high school students, with an average score of no less than 85% across all semesters; admissions will be based on merit; 2) Good results in the Chinese Academic Proficiency Test, and submission of Gaokao scores is mandatory (if not yet taken at the time of application, they can be submitted later); 3) If currently enrolled in a Chinese higher education institution, the average score during enrollment should be no less than 75%; 4) Must complete language study at UWO's designated language center, otherwise admission will be invalidated; 5) The only way to apply for the dual admission program at the main campus is through UWO's designated language center; direct applications to the main campus are not accepted. (Free consulting hotline for UWO: 40006170158) Due to not having its own language center, UWO has two local language centers: one is the public Fanshawe College (one of Canada's largest public colleges) Language Center, which is larger in scale, and the other is the smaller private Culture Works Language Center. Both language centers have long-term authorization. Because of UWO's reputation, both language centers often experience high demand for their admissions spots, which fill up relatively early.

The public Fanshawe College Language Center's start dates for 2012 are January 9th, March 5th, May 7th, June 4th, July 3rd, July 30th, September 4th, and October 29th.

CultureWorks Language Center's courses are divided into four levels, each lasting 12 weeks, with placement determined by an entrance placement test. Costs include: CAD 4,666 per level, homestay CAD 2,610 per level, homestay application fee CAD 225, and airport pick-up fee CAD 100. Start dates for 2012: January 13th, April 13th (Consultation hotline: 010-68405167).
