Discussion:
3.1 The necessity to strengthen fluids infusion inspection work: Venous transfusion is a measure for rescuing patients and treating diseases. Since the infusion process takes longer time and involves more patients, it is inevitable to encounter various concerns during the infusion process. In order to ensure the safety of the patient's transfusion process, we need to strengthen the inpatient venous fluids infusion inspection work. From the survey results in Table 1, we see that l = 39.86, P<0.05. Strengthening the inpatient venous fluids infusion inspection work can significantly reduce the patient’s fear and psychological burden.
3.2 Strengthening the responsibility of nurses: Nurses, during fluids infusion inspections, have increased opportunities to communicate with patients, thereby fostering a closer nurse-patient relationship. Especially through the use of fluids infusion inspection cards, a sincere consensus can be reached between the hospital and the patients, making patients trust and rely on nurses more, thus reducing various accidents and disputes during the transfusion process.
3.3 Lightening the burden on families and society for patients: Some patients are bedridden, and their family members are working while also caring for the patient, which often makes them feel tired and affects their jobs and lives. In our courtyard's fluids infusion inspection work, nurses actively manage the entire process of changing liquids and needles for venous transfusions, without requiring accompanying nursing. This reduces the phenomenon of "one family hospitalized, the whole family running around", easing the burden on the patient’s family and society.
