Husband Puts Up Banner on the Street Hoping Wife Comes Home - South Korean Male Idol Group

By Zhang Zhe, reported for Want China Times. Being obsessed with South Korean male idol groups is not only the privilege of teenage girls. Recently, a controversial picture appeared on South Korean online communities and social networking services (SNS). It showed that after leaving home due to her obsession with the idol group JYJ, a South Korean housewife's husband put up a banner on the street asking her to come home, and promised to buy her tickets for the concert.

According to South Korea’s JoongAng Daily, February 8th report said that the banner in the above mentioned picture read: "Oh !! Please come home! I was wrong! Now if you want to go watch JYJ's concert, wherever it is, even overseas, I will send you there. Even if I don't sleep, I will book tickets for JYJ's concert for you. You and I have lived together for 8 years~ I've also become a fan of JYJ… love you."

The report said that some people speculated that this banner was made by a husband whose wife is a fervent fan of JYJ. Perhaps because she did not come home due to her idol group, the husband had no choice but to write this banner, filled with anxiety as a husband.

Seeing this picture, netizens left messages such as, "This housewife loves idol groups so much that she ran away from home," "Come home quickly!! There will never be a husband like this again," and "It's absurd and funny that such an event happened because of an idol group." But some people questioned whether this was done to stir up publicity for JYJ?

South Korean group JYJ is a male dance-pop trio consisting of Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, and Kim Junsu.
