Supor rice cooker exposed again for non-compliance: protection device fails during abnormal operation
The Shenzhen Market Supervision Bureau recently announced the results of a supervision抽查on automatic electric rice cookers sold citywide. Supor was again found to have problematic products, with one model of Supor luxury intelligent rice cooker failing to meet standards for its protection device during abnormal operation, which could easily lead to safety accidents.
A total of 34 batches of products from 12 enterprises were inspected citywide, with 30 batches passing inspection. The main quality issues discovered in this inspection include: one sample being non-compliant with input power and current requirements, three samples failing during abnormal operation, and two samples being non-compliant with creepage distance, electrical clearance, and solid insulation requirements. The Supor CFXB40FC11G-75 model luxury intelligent rice cooker falls into the category of non-compliance during abnormal operation. Experts pointed out that when using appliances, their safety must be considered. When users mishandle them, lack electrical knowledge, or when components fail causing misoperation or abnormal operation, the structure of the appliance should still have certain protective functions to prevent fires, electric shocks, or mechanical injuries.
