Russian Physical Education Teacher Performs 'Baby Yoga' with a 2-Week-Old Infant
According to reports, a video of a Russian physical education teacher performing "baby yoga" with a 2-week-old infant has shocked millions of internet users worldwide. In the video, she disregards the baby's piercing screams as she tightly grips its wrists and ankles to perform somersaults, a sight that is truly shocking.
The "baby yoga" performer is named Fugina, aged 51. Many netizens believe that Fugina might be using a doll for the performance. However, Fugina insists that it is absolutely a real baby, and she has been practicing baby yoga techniques for the past 30 years.
Fugina has set up a workshop in Egypt where many parents from Europe pay her to perform these moves on their own children, some of whom are only a few months old. Most babies scream in panic, some even cry uncontrollably or vomit, but Fugina claims that this is beneficial for the infants.
Fugina says: "Most people think that babies should only lie in bed, drink milk, and cry. But babies are born with a natural ability to respond, and we can use this ability to develop their mind and body."
Fugina claims that this "baby yoga" originated from ancient African tribes, used to treat and correct children with muscle or bone problems, though healthy children can also benefit from it. She says: "This yoga can improve the muscle strength of babies, allowing them to learn how to read, sing, or swim earlier, and can also make their hands stronger."
However, doctors around the world have warned for years that subjecting infants to intense and unnatural movements could lead to brain hemorrhages, retinal bleeding, and brain swelling.
