**Exhibition Introduction:**
The 7th Iran International Auto Parts Exhibition 2012 (Iran International Autoparts Exhibition 2011) is the largest auto parts exhibition in Iran, organized by the Iranian Auto Parts Association, held annually. In 2011, the exhibition had over 1,200 overseas exhibitors. Exhibitors from the UK, China, France, India, Germany, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and the UAE attended this largest auto parts exhibition in Iran. Currently, there are approximately 2,000 auto parts factories in Iran with 650 members, among which there are 230 medium and large-sized manufacturers.
**Market Introduction:**
Currently, there are about 2,000 auto parts factories in Iran with 650 members, among which there are 100 medium and large-sized manufacturers. Iran's annual demand for various types of vehicles is currently 500,000 units, and by 2012, the annual demand for automobiles in Iran will reach 1 million units. However, its current annual production capacity is only around 380,000 units. While Iran is increasing its domestic automobile production, it will also import and export a large number of vehicles and accessories to meet societal demands. The economic and trade complementarity between China and Iran is strong, offering broad development prospects. China is Iran's second-largest trading partner, with bilateral trade reaching $5.623 billion last year. Iran has a strong demand for Chinese electromechanical products, accounting for about 50%. Domestic automobile companies are now entering the Iranian market; Southeast Motors of China has already exported 8,500 Dongnan Delica cars to Iran. Additionally, Chery, Sinotruk, and Foton Motor have also entered the Iranian market, accelerating their steps and signing project cooperation agreements with Iranian companies. There is another auto show in Tabriz, Iran, which is held in a northern city of Iran, but its professionalism does not match that of the Tehran exhibition. The Tabriz auto show includes both complete vehicles and auto parts, but the professionalism of buyers is weak. Therefore, our company recommends exhibitors participate in the Tehran auto parts exhibition.
