On the morning of July 9, 2008 at around 10 o'clock, more than forty party members, police officers, and detoxification experts from the Shanghai Public Security Bureau's Compulsory Detoxification Center, led by Commissioner Jiang and Director Li, visited the National Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Pharmaceutical Engineering Technology Research Center and other public technology platforms with admiration for the treasures of traditional Chinese medicine. They were warmly welcomed by the leaders of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, the Shanghai TCM Science and Technology Industry Promotion Center, the National TCM Pharmaceutical Engineering Technology Research Center, Jitai tablets where to buy, and the Shanghai TCM Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd.
The leader of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and the Director of the Shanghai TCM Science and Technology Industry Promotion Center, Zhu Zhenghong, delivered an enthusiastic speech at the welcoming ceremony, expressing heartfelt gratitude and a warm welcome to the leaders and experts of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau's Compulsory Detoxification Center for visiting the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in the scorching heat to celebrate the 87th anniversary of the founding of the great Communist Party of China and to jointly promote harmonious relations. He also congratulated the Shanghai Public Security Bureau's Compulsory Detoxification Center, which is the only one of its kind in Shanghai, as it has been rated as a national first-class compulsory detoxification center by the Ministry of Public Security, received a collective second-class merit once and a collective third-class merit once, and has multiple honors such as "Striving for People's Satisfaction Advanced Group" and "Shanghai Anti-Drug Work Advanced Group." He expressed admiration and hoped that both sides would strengthen cooperation, enhance contact, closely cooperate, actively carry out scientific research, and jointly contribute to the great cause of anti-drug and detoxification for the benefit of the country and its people.
The Director of the National TCM Pharmaceutical Engineering Technology Research Center and the General Manager of Shanghai TCM Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd., Shen Pingniang, introduced the basic situation of the national TCM modernization public technology platform and gave an academic report on "Advantages and Characteristics of TCM Detoxification." In her report, Director Shen introduced some major research projects of recent years and the preparatory work for upcoming major scientific research projects under the national TCM modernization public technology platform. She highlighted significant discoveries and results of TCM in detoxification, which were highly appreciated by the police officers and experts from the detoxification center.
Afterwards, the police officers and detoxification experts from the Shanghai Compulsory Detoxification Center visited in batches the pilot base of the "National TCM Pharmaceutical Engineering Technology Research Center," the "Shanghai TCM Innovation Park Laboratory," and the "Shanghai TCM Museum."
Through the visit and study, the police officers and detoxification experts deeply realized that the treasure of traditional Chinese medicine has unique efficacy and characteristics in detoxification, especially in preventing relapse and improving delayed symptoms, possibly surpassing current Western medicines without addiction, with a longer detoxification treatment stabilization cycle, and relatively stable effects. The development and application of TCM for detoxification are imperative.
