"Hero" shows up uninvited to avenge, "causing a death". Seeing that it had resulted in a death, Gao was immediately terrified. However, the "hero" casually said: "Since the person is dead, let's find a place to bury this guy." Then several people carried the body up the mountain. About 20 minutes later, they came down and said "it's done!"
This place was pitch black, Gao vaguely saw four people surrounding a person squatting on the slope. The "hero" led Gao to walk up and shone a flashlight on the face of that person and asked: "Is this the one?" Gao looked and indeed it was the person causing trouble that day.
Originally thinking it was just a small matter, but subsequent events made Cui and Gao rack their brains. On the seventh day after the incident, at around 10 p.m. on January 4, 2012, Cui took a taxi back home. As soon as he got out of the taxi, two men rushed out from the roadside flower bed and punched him unconscious. They then proceeded to kick him until the security guard of the neighborhood rushed out to rescue him, at which point the two men hastily fled. After being attacked, Cui no longer dared to go to the store.
A fast-food restaurant was harassed by "hoodlums", and the "knight-errant" stepped in to avenge, resulting in a "death". Unable to bear the torment, the boss of the fast-food restaurant had no choice but to turn himself in to the police station. Who would have thought that this was actually a meticulously planned murder scam.
Li was criminally detained by the police on the day of the incident. On February 10, the police of Zhenjiang handed over the case to the procuratorate. Currently, other co-conspirators who are still at large are being pursued.
At 12:30 p.m. on December 29, 2011, two young men walked into a fast-food restaurant on Jianguo Road in Shaoguan for a meal. Soon after, these two suddenly shouted: "Your food is not clean, there's hair in it!" The bosses of the fast-food restaurant, Gao and Cui, seeing this, immediately went forward to apologize. But the two men wouldn't listen, and started making a scene in the store, punching Cui and throwing bowls and plates around. During this process, the food and shards also involved two other male customers. These two swallowed their anger and retaliated against the troublemakers. After a few rounds, they managed to drive the troublemakers away. Seeing the "hero" helping to resolve the dispute, Gao and Cui immediately offered cigarettes in gratitude and exchanged phone numbers.
Customers used excuses to cause trouble, and two people "acted bravely".
After examination, fraud suspect Li admitted that this was a carefully designed scam with each step linked together. He confessed that he first frequently visited Cui's fast-food restaurant to become familiar with them, to gain the trust of Cui and Gao. Then through harassment - intimidation - night attack, he caused panic in Cui. Finally, by catching villains - punishing wrongdoers - beating everyone up, he gradually lured Cui and Gao into his trap, with the aim of defrauding or extorting money from Cui and Gao.
At 8 p.m. on January 10, the store was about to close. The guest who helped out earlier suddenly came to the store, saying that the troublemaker had been caught, and called the boss to identify the person. Cui was not present, so Gao sat on the moped of this "hero", circled around the city area, and finally arrived at a small hill near Baiwang Bridge along the river.
With the initial intention of resolving the issue amicably, Gao approached the troublemaker to negotiate. Before a few words were exchanged, the person squatting on the ground suddenly jumped up and delivered a powerful punch that knocked Gao unconscious, then quickly ran up the slope. The "hero" and the four helpers chased after him. A few minutes later, Gao regained consciousness, and the "hero" returned to his side and said: "That person might be dead." Gao looked and indeed the person was lying motionless on the ground, with blood all over his head, and the iron bar held by the man beside him was also covered in blood.
That night, Gao, who was caught up in the "murder case," tossed and turned unable to sleep. At around 8 a.m. on January 11, accompanied by relatives, he went to the South Gate Police Station to surrender. Upon hearing Gao's account, the investigating officers found many suspicious points, and the so-called "act of bravery" seemed more like a carefully planned scam. While Gao was recounting the events to the officers, he kept receiving calls urging him to "settle the accounts," which further alerted the officers that the "murder case" might be fake. Thus, the officers instructed Gao to keep the "hero" calm while they devised a detailed arrest plan.
At around 4 p.m. that afternoon, Gao, following the instructions, brought cash to a hotel near Shaoguan East Station, and changed the handover location to inside the hotel room under the pretext of room safety. A few minutes later, a middle-aged man walked towards Gao's room, but when he reached the door, he seemed to notice something amiss and turned to leave. At this moment, the officers lurking in the shadows rushed forward and apprehended him on the spot.
Subsequently, they took Gao to a large barbecue stand in Maba Town to discuss follow-up matters. The "hero" stated that since they accidentally killed someone, they needed 250,000 yuan to help some brothers flee. Gao responded that he didn't have that much cash, and after some haggling, they finally agreed on 200,000 yuan. Seeing that Gao couldn't produce the money on the spot, the "hero" took out a bank card and generously said: "I still have over ten thousand yuan on my card, I'll advance it for you, we can settle it tomorrow." Gao had no choice but to agree.
The boss "turned himself in" only to realize he had fallen into a trap. A mysterious scam.
