STUDIES ON THE CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF HYLOTEPHIUM MINGJINIANUM (S.H.FU) H. OHBA
Tan and CX Zuo (Institute of Materia Medica, Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences, 250001)
ABSTRACT Two new flavonoids were isolated from Hylophila mingjiniana (S.H.Fu) H. Ohba (Crassulaceae). On the basis of spectral data (UV, IR, MS, NMR, 2DNMR and FABMS) and chemical reactions, they were elucidated to be 3,5,7,8,4'-pentahydroxyflavone-7-glucuronide, named mingjinianuronide A (XI), and 3,5,7,8,4'-pentahydroxyflavone 8-O-2-O-(2-methylbutanoyl) glucuronide, named mingjinianuronide B (XII). Moreover, ten known compounds have been isolated and identified as: tritriacontane (I), friedelin (II), β-sitosterol (III), daneosterol (IV), protocatechuic acid (V), gallic acid (VI), quercetin (VII), quercetin-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (VIII), quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (IX) and kaempferol-7-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (X).
