When police officer Bao Chaoyang from Zhifang Police Station was chatting with the half sister of Ke (a suspect), he learned that Ke had a girlfriend in 2007 before the case happened. They broke up after the incident, but it was estimated that Ke still had contact with his ex-girlfriend. The policemen found Ke's ex-girlfriend through the name provided by Ke's family via an internal network and got Ke's QQ number from her.
According to reports, on the morning of yesterday, after more than 10 days of online communication, police officer Bao Chaoyang from Zhifang Police Station finally persuaded Ke, who had fled four years ago for committing robbery, to surrender himself.
Four years ago, Ke robbed 600 yuan and fled. On the morning of September 4th, 2007 at around 2 o'clock, Ke, then 20 years old, colluded with others and robbed 600 yuan cash from passer-by Hu in an alley beside Hetou Li Xingxin Supermarket on Zhifang Street, Jiangxia District, and then fled.
In order to urge Ke to surrender as soon as possible, Ke's sister kept following the special team of police officers, using QQ chat to continuously send messages persuading him to surrender. After more than 10 days of chatting, Ke finally agreed to surrender. In these days, their chat records reached over 1000 messages.
