The Management Office releases an investment risk warning for driving school investments: investments should be made cautiously. Recently, in order to further maintain the business order of Linyi's driver training market, guide the supply and demand balance of the driver training market, avoid social investment losses and industry fluctuations, the city’s Transportation Management Office has released an investment risk warning for those planning to establish a driving school, suggesting that groups and individuals who wish to invest in establishing a driving school objectively evaluate the investment risks of the driver training market, avoiding unnecessary investment losses.
Since the transportation department of Linyi City started managing driving schools, the city’s driver training industry has maintained a healthy and orderly state of good development. Currently, two driving schools in Linyi have received the title of "National Civilized and Honest Quality Service Driving School" and "Top 20 Driving Schools in the Province", four driving schools have received the title of "Provincial Standardized Driving School", and 26 driving schools have been awarded the title of "City-level Standardized Driving School". The industry management level is among the top in the province.
It is estimated that in the coming years, the number of people newly holding driver's licenses in Linyi will be about 250,000 per year, with the growth rate showing a slowing trend. Currently, the training capacity of the city's driver training market is trending towards saturation. By the end of 2011, there were 43 driving schools in Linyi, including 17 in the urban area, with a total of more than 3,500 instructor vehicles and more than 4,000 on-duty instructors. The annual training capacity reached over 260,000 people, and the training capacity of driving schools basically meets the needs of the general public learning to drive. In addition, relevant national laws and regulations have strict requirements for the management system of driving schools, instructors and managers, teaching vehicles, and other teaching facilities, equipment, and venues. Therefore, the hardware investment cost of driving schools is quite high, and fixed costs such as financial expenses, vehicle depreciation, venue facility depreciation, venue rent, and staff salaries during operations are also increasing year by year.
