Since starting work in pediatric surgery, she has been engaged in clinical front-line work, conducting in-depth research on rectal pressure measurement diagnosis of congenital megacolon, rectal pressure measurement diagnosis of sphincter function in children with anal incontinence, and the characteristics of external anal sphincter potential in constipation patients as well as the potential changes during simulated defecation. She uses biofeedback technology to treat defecation dysfunction in patients with pelvic floor spasm. Normal anal sphincters exhibit a gradual increase in sphincter pressure from head to tail and a gradual decrease in sphincter pressure bias, forming the maximum pressure value and minimum bias value at 1 cm away from the anus, which facilitates anal continence. This paper won the Excellent Paper Award at the second National Academic Conference on Pediatric Surgery for Young and Middle-aged Scholars in 2000. She is proficient in diagnosing and treating common diseases in pediatric surgery, successfully treated one case of neonatal annular pancreas, conservatively cured one case of acute pancreatitis in children, and completed treatment of a complex traumatic ureteral rupture in a child through multi-disciplinary collaboration (results are still under follow-up). Since starting work, she has published 17 papers as the first author, including 10 Chinese monographs (all included in statistical source journals, one of which was indexed by the Dutch Medical Abstracts), 2 English monographs (both indexed by Medline), 1 review, 1 short article, and 3 case reports. She also published 4 papers as the second author (all included in Chinese statistical source journals). In 2001, she received the third prize of the Youth Surgical Scholarship awarded by the Chinese Medical Association and Johnson & Johnson USA. She obtained a seedling fund from the General Hospital of the PLA for the period of 2001-2004. She received the title of Technical Expert at the General Hospital of the PLA in 1999, 2007, and 2009, and received multiple commendations from the General Hospital of the PLA.
