I. Overview of the MGG Submersible Electromagnetic Flowmeter (MGG Open Channel Flowmeter):
The Magne W3000 PLUS submersible electromagnetic flowmeter (open channel flowmeter) is used for continuous measurement of the volume flow of conductive liquids in open channels, closed conduits, or pipelines. This MGG electromagnetic flowmeter has been widely used in flow measurement by urban water supply and drainage systems, industrial wastewater discharge, sewage treatment, agricultural irrigation departments, and more.
II. Features and Application Scope of the Submersible Electromagnetic Flowmeter (Open Channel Flowmeter):
- The sensor body of the open channel flowmeter is made from plastic, making it lightweight and corrosion-resistant.
- The open channel flowmeter has a simple structure with no moving parts. This flowmeter has strong anti-pollution, anti-clogging, or anti-corrosion capabilities, allowing its use in fluids containing suspended or adhesive substances.
- The sensor of the open channel flowmeter can be conveniently installed on any existing gate in a water channel. The channel can be an open channel or a closed conduit, with a cross-section that can be rectangular or circular.
- The open channel flowmeter has a wide measurement coverage range, capable of measuring within 0-0.3 to 0-10 m/sec. Greater flow can be measured under the same hydraulic head by installing dummy sensors of the same physical size parallel to the original sensor.
- The flow signal of the open channel flowmeter is linear, ensuring high measurement accuracy even when the flow decreases from 100% to 0%. Stable measurements can still be performed even if the channel is affected by tides.
- The open channel flowmeter is suitable for measuring in open channels, closed conduits, rivers, and various shapes of channels such as circular, rectangular, trapezoidal, and others. It is unaffected by rising river water levels, tidal influences, or changes in downstream water levels.
- The open channel flowmeter can expand the flow measurement range using a simulation sensor (diversion model).
