Dense forests, once dominated by flowers and trees, but a grenade was thrown and destroyed their density. Is this why? The blue sky, a paradise for birds, but a helicopter fell from the sky, leaving a plume of smoke, causing the birds to flee in all directions. Is this why? The magnificent ocean, a world for fish, but now one mine disrupts the peace for the fish. Is this why? Beautiful schools, originally filled with the sound of children reciting, but one by one bombs were thrown at the school, breaking desks and chairs. Is this why? We hope, we hope and pray — that in war, a child has a desk, smooth desks, not to be shattered by missiles. That there is a classroom, white classrooms, not broken down by bomb shrapnel! To study like flowers, and enjoy the spring as we do...
