Scar Hair Transplant Surgery
I. Common Scar Grafting Cases:
1. Scars left on the forehead or side head after a face lift.
2. Scars between eyebrows.
3. Scars left after cleft lip suturing surgery.

II. Pre-surgery Notes:
1. The night before the surgery and the morning of the surgery, use shampoo to clean your hair.
2. Within one week prior to the surgery, stop using all vitamins including Vitamin E and aspirin.
3. Two days before the surgery, avoid excessive alcohol consumption.
4. On the day of the surgery, sedatives must be taken. Do not drive vehicles or engage in high-altitude work after the surgery.
5. Have a light breakfast on the day of the surgery.
6. If the patient has other medical history or is taking medications, please inform the doctor in detail.
III. Surgical Process:
1. Pre-surgical consultation
2. Design of transplant area
3. Harvesting from donor site
4. Separation of follicular units
5. Transplantation unit by unit with follicular units
IV. Post-surgery Notes:
1. Since the effects of the anesthetic will not disappear immediately, you may feel drowsy after the surgery. After being discharged, make sure to rest more; do not drive vehicles or engage in high-altitude work after the surgery. When sleeping, you can elevate the pillow a bit.
2. Avoid lifting heavy objects or doing strenuous exercise within five days after the surgery.
3. Follow the doctor's advice and take medication on time, which can reduce discomfort after the surgery.
4. Apply cold compresses with ice packs to the surgical area for 3-4 days after the surgery to help reduce swelling.
5. Avoid getting the surgical area wet within one week after the surgery. You can wash your hair four days later, but do not rub the donor area too hard.
6. It is best to avoid exercise within four days after the surgery. Four days later, you can do light exercise; ten days later, you can increase the amount of exercise slightly; however, avoid strenuous physical contact sports for at least three weeks.
