Abercrombie and Fitch Outlet Unknown site of bleeding 184 cases of clinical diagnosis and treatment of epistaxis P levels were significantly reduced, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01); serum IL-6, IL-18, IFN levels was higher, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). The conclusions VIP play an important role in viral clearance of chronic viral hepatitis and liver damage, the release of cytokines may modulate the immune system play a role, VIP can reflect the body's immune status. Department of Organ Transplantation, the People & Hospital of Henan [Abstract] 0bjective To investigate the possible alterations of vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) in plasma with chronic hepatitis patients. Methods Individuals that took part in the experiment were divided into two groups: group I (normal control), group II (including 18 chronic hepatitis B patients and 20 chronic hepatitis C patients). The markers for HBV and HCV, virological evaluation (HBV DNA and HCV RNA) and serum alanine aminotransferase (AIJT) were performed. VIP in plasma was detected by ELISA methods. IL-6, IL-18 and IFN a in serum were detected by ELISA methods. Results The levels of VIP in plasma were significantly lower (P <0.01) and the levels of IL-6, IL-18 and IFN in serum were significantly higher (P <0.01) with chronic hepatitis patients than with normal control. Conclusion The changes of VIP in plasma from chronic hepatitis B patients suggest VIP take part in alteration of T-cellular immune response and liver injury. VIP modulates immunological function by regulate inflammatory cytokines. 【Keywords】 Chronic hepatitis; Vasoactive intestinal peptide; of Immune chronic hepatitis B and hepatitis C pathogenesis is complex, its pathogenesis is not yet fully clarified. Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) is a multifunctional neuropeptide produced in the lymphatic microcirculation, recent studies have shown that immunomodulatory functions .... Inhibiting the inflammatory response is a VIP the most basic immune regulatory function, and its anti-inflammatory effects related to natural
