The low-profile Nesta is notoriously difficult to interview within Italy, but before this match that all Italians are paying attention to - AC Milan against Juventus at home - Nesta shared his insights with the Turin Sports Daily. From last season until now, Nesta's performance has been nearly perfect, and before the South Africa World Cup, Prandelli had also considered recruiting Nesta into the 23-man squad. However, he was directly refused as Nesta clearly stated he did not want to take away the position of national teammates who had worked hard in qualifying matches. Focused solely on AC Milan, Nesta expressed his desire to dedicate all his efforts to the club.

Regarding the possibility of meeting his old friend Del Piero in Saturday's league match, Nesta was very pleased. He praised his old friend for maintaining a high level of competitive form over the years: "Whether as a friend or an opponent, I am happy to meet him. He is a very calm and low-key person. But once he speaks, you can tell he is very smart and responsible. What excites me even more is that he can still maintain such a high level of competitiveness."

Finally, regarding whether he would leave AC Milan after this season to return to Lazio or seek fortune in the United States, Nesta clearly stated that he would retire at San Siro: "No, I won't go anywhere. I will end my career at Milan."

Nesta also praised Juventus for continuously rebuilding and improving, with their opponents truly becoming stronger: "After 'Calciopoli', Juventus has been constantly rebuilding. Now they have started to bear fruit, both economically and competitively, recovering from their losses. This year, they have introduced many excellent players, and the new management team has made them better than ever before."

Regarding the suspension of Juventus midfield core Krasic, Nesta said it was a fair penalty: "This decision was made by the Italian sports arbitration committee, and they were fair. Any player who violates sports ethics should be penalized with a suspension, even if it is an AC Milan player who does the same thing."

The highly anticipated battle between AC Milan and Juventus is imminent, with both teams making every effort to prepare. On October 28th, local Italian time, the Turin Sports Daily conducted a special interview with AC Milan's defensive cornerstone Nesta, asking about his views on his future in the team and this match.

For this match, Nesta solemnly expressed the need to win, as it is a crucial step towards the championship: "Everyone hopes to ultimately lift the league trophy, so this match is bound to be different. We must win because we are a team that has already achieved four consecutive victories. Our morale is high, and defeating Juventus will allow us to maintain our mental state better. Only by pressing forward in this way can we laugh till the end."
