Jingwei Filling the Sea: It is said that Yandi's young daughter Nüwa drowned while playing by the East Sea. To seek revenge, after her death, Nüwa transformed into a small bird with a white beak, red feet, and a colorful head, named Jingwei. She often carried twigs and stones from the Western Mountain, vowing to fill up the East Sea.
