I am a game enthusiast, but recently I've seen so many games, and none of them appeal to me. The problem is that every game has quests. As office workers like us, where do we have the time to complete all these quests? If we have time to do quests, we don't have time to level up, and if we have time to level up, we don't have time for quests. It was games like "Heaven's Sword" and "Yitian 2" that were more suitable for us working people, unfortunately ruined by cheats, making them no longer enjoyable. I'm not saying that current games aren't fun; I'm just saying there are too many quests. The first quest-based game I played was "World of Warcraft". The map was huge, and at first, it seemed really fun to play. But as I continued playing, it became increasingly annoying. The quests were hard to complete. To finish one quest, you had to travel far and find the quest NPC. Sometimes you couldn't even find the NPC. By the time you finished a quest, two hours would have passed. Later, many games followed "World of Warcraft" with their quest systems. In "Zhen Tu", there was a quest that required killing thousands or even tens of thousands of monsters. I remember doing a green equipment quest with a few friends, and it took us an entire night. Isn't that ridiculous?????? I truly don't know whether a game is meant for entertainment or to torture people??? The newly released "Shocking Heaven and Earth" looked amazing online, but when I actually played it, I was utterly disappointed. I chose the archer class, and the archer couldn't automatically shoot arrows; you had to use skills to shoot arrows, otherwise, you couldn't attack monsters. That aside, what annoyed me was mentoring new players, and they didn't gain any experience. I experienced this firsthand. I invited my friend to play, and I was already level 30 at that time. When I mentored him, he didn't gain any experience. How frustrating! A game loses its original essence. In my opinion, no matter how well-made a game is, ceramic ball valve, if it loses its gaming essence, no one will play it. Games are originally meant for everyone to enjoy together, forming teams, going out to fight monsters, leveling up, etc. I remember playing "Heaven's Sword" in the past, and some monsters related to dog food conversations taste testers were somewhat unprofessional and couldn't be defeated without forming a team. Because of that, some people who I never thought I'd meet became acquaintances. Like a few of my close friends now, they were all from playing "Heaven's Sword" in the past. They are far away in Hainan, Fujian, etc., while I am in Sichuan. It was because of that game being genuinely a game that we became close friends both in the game and in real life. Game developers, can you create a game without quests? Isn't the current fashion trend retro? You used to follow trends and release games with quests, but now, shouldn't you consider us working people who love games and release some games without quests?
