China's Low-carbon Technology Alliance for Electrical Industry Established in Beijing

The China Low-carbon Technology Alliance for Electrical Industry was established in Beijing on October 13. To meet the needs of China's low-carbon transformation and construction, promote the shift in development mode of China's electrical industry, scientifically respond to the challenges of low-carbon technology, and share the opportunities brought by low-carbon development, the China Electrical Industry Association jointly initiated the establishment of the Low-carbon Technology Alliance for Electrical Industry with leading enterprises in the industry, research institutes, testing and certification institutions.

The establishment meeting of the China Low-carbon Technology Alliance for Electrical Industry was presided over by Fang Xiaoyan, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Electrical Industry Association, and Yang Qiming, Executive Vice President of the China Electrical Industry Association delivered a speech. The meeting was attended by Jiang Zhaoli, Director of the Domestic Policy and Compliance Division of the Climate Change Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, Sun Jiama, Director of the Energy Conservation and Science & Technology Equipment Division of the National Energy Administration, Wang Li, Director of the Consumer Goods Division of the Standardization Administration of China's Industrial Department II, Tan Xiangning, Director of the Standards Department of the Machinery Industry Federation, Xing Yujiu, Honorary President of the China Electrical Industry Association, and about 100 members of the alliance. This conference was organized by the China Electrical Industry Association, co-organized by Shenyang Huali Electric Group and Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. All parties present congratulated and praised the establishment of the Low-carbon Technology Alliance, stating that it would provide an excellent platform for promoting energy conservation and emission reduction and the development of low-carbon economy in China, and make active contributions to the progress of China's future low-carbon cause. Guo Liping, Senior Engineer of the China Electrical Industry Association, introduced the alliance's formation plan and relevant work ideas, and Xing Yujiu, Honorary President of the China Electrical Industry Association, read out the approval document for the establishment of the alliance from relevant departments.

Following the establishment meeting, a low-carbon technology seminar was held, where experts from Shenyang Huali, Siemens, Schneider, China Quality Certification Center, China National Institute of Standardization, SGS, and TÜV Rheinland Group made brilliant reports respectively. They introduced the current status and future trends of low-carbon technology development in the domestic and international electrical industries to all parties present, providing strong support for promoting the development of low-carbon and environmental protection in China's electrical industry, and received unanimous praise from the attendees.
