Our reporter (Wang Lina) - A real estate broker, Mr. Gao, forged the company's official seal and financial专用章and signed house purchase contracts on behalf of others under the company's name, embezzling over 70,000 yuan in intermediary fees for himself. Yesterday, it was reported from the Daxing Court that due to being found guilty of professional embezzlement, Mr. Gao has been sentenced to two years in prison, with a three-year reprieve.

A client, Mr. Wang, stated that he met the real estate agent, Mr. Gao, while buying a house. To save on intermediary fees, he asked Mr. Gao to help him with the transfer procedures and promised to pay him 3000 yuan as an intermediary fee. By the end of May that year, he had signed a house purchase contract with the homeowner. Later, due to a rise in housing prices, the homeowner refused to cooperate with the relevant procedures. As such, Mr. Wang filed a lawsuit in court. When the court verified the situation with the real estate company, they identified that the seals on the evidence provided by the parties were all fake, and the company had not received this intermediary fee.

The police investigation revealed that in May 2009, Mr. Gao had someone forge the real estate agency's official seal, financial专用章, and contract专用章at a cost of 50 yuan per seal.

The court determined that between May 22, 2009, and the end of November that year, Mr. Gao impersonated the company's name to help four pairs of clients sign house purchase contracts, taking possession of over 70,000 yuan in collected intermediary or transfer fees for himself.
