**Synopsis of "Underworld 4: Awakening"**:

During the decades that Selene was in a coma, humans discovered the existence of vampires and werewolves in the world and implemented a "minor purge" policy against them. While humans believed they had nearly exterminated both species, a secret organization used biotechnology and research on werewolves to create a new species: the super werewolf. It possesses incomparable strength, speed, size, and destructive power. For any species, this is a potential threat.

Upon awakening, Selene discovers that the world has changed. To survive, she must once again take up arms and fight for her life. She also learns that she has a 15-year-old daughter named Eve, who is a hybrid of vampire and werewolf. Her existence could be key to finding the super werewolf's weakness. However, Eve is locked in a human research facility. To ensure the survival of her race and to save her daughter, Selene embarks on another bloody journey.

### Reviews:

13 Useful - Yin Ge (January 28, 2012): The pioneer of the recent vampire craze is back, even though it’s mediocre. But all you Twilight fans can go home and sleep now! This series is the real deal.

4 Useful - Zhu Daitui (January 22, 2012): This movie was filmed at our school. The library where KT jumps and the lab where the first fight takes place are from our campus. So while watching, I couldn’t stop laughing and breaking immersion. Speaking of fighting scenes, they’re way better than the wimpy scratching matches in Twilight!

3 Useful - Che Wu (January 21, 2012): Watching Underworld is all about hoping the protagonist gets to shoot something.

4 Useful - Kung Fu Panda Wo Zai (January 22, 2012): Watching this film is really just for Kate. I’ve always loved her stunning and passionate brave image. But it’s obvious she looks older compared to parts 1 and 2; makeup can’t hide the occasional bags under her eyes and wrinkles. I worry that one day when Kate stops playing this role, who will replace her? Mitra in part 3 has already proven to be quite successful.

2 Useful - Cyborg (January 21, 2012): Why does it only last 88 minutes? After watching, you’ll know it’s because there wasn’t much left to film. The 3D effects are decent though.

0 Useful - Cooper (January 28, 2012): Thumbs up.

0 Useful - Huan Yue (February 7, 2012): The director really hates the female lead.

0 Useful - Lin Dan's Words (January 29, 2012): Stylish, but still feels unfinished.

0 Useful - Ye Ye Ge Xiong (January 29, 2012): Terrible.

0 Useful - Somnambule Nr.6 (February 6, 2012): Don't ask where I watched this—Rosa Bang Cinema pirated version. If Beckinsale agrees to continue, the next one should be called “A Thousand Faces in Search of a Woman.” If Beckinsale refuses and says, “No more leather jackets and silver bullets,” then this could also be titled “The Rise of the Half-Vampire, Half-Lycan Hybrid.” The plot could revolve around the emotional entanglement between Lucian's son (from the previous films) and Selene's daughter, bringing back the theme of forbidden love as a selling point.

0 Useful - Wei Xian Ding Xiao Jie (February 2, 2012): Underworld 1 was the first M18-rated movie I watched. Somehow, I skipped parts 2 and 3 and went straight to part 4. It’s far from being an exciting movie, but it’s something to pass the time. Just watch it and forget it. Though it’s good but lacks substance, one after another. Hmm.

0 Useful - Frisbee (January 29, 2012): Finished watching! Kate's body is still amazing. At the start, she and Raona were forced apart, and 12 years passed before she woke up. Her mother identity is hard to believe. Then another round of rescues—not for transformation, but for bloodline. The action scenes remain stylish, but please don’t make a fifth movie, okay?!

0 Useful - A-Day (January 29, 2012): The visual effects of the fighting scenes are good. The actors' bodies are still great, and that’s enough.

1 Useful - Delta ά (January 29, 2012): Simple and rough, but the fights are enjoyable.

1 Useful - Rachel (January 28, 2012): No aesthetic appeal except for KB’s legs.

0 Useless - Fei Yun (January 26, 2012): Beautifully fighting in a leather jacket, decaying into a half-old woman spitting out intestines... Too heavy for my taste... @Taiwan

1 Useful - Ai Sen (January 29, 2012): No real plot, just violent fighting for an hour and a half. But it’s still very exciting.
