China News Service, Jinhua, December 16 (reported by Gu Qizheng and Zhao Yuejiao) - On the 15th, in Chema River Village of the Development Zone in Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province, a family of five people narrowly escaped being wiped out.

Family members of the victims who were rushing to Yongkang from the local area stated that two children aged 3 and 4 died on the spot. The 7-year-old child and the couple are still being treated in the hospital. Strangely, the suspect did not flee but remained at the crime scene and was subsequently captured. Currently, Yongkang Public Security Bureau is intensifying its efforts to interrogate the suspect.

It is reported that this family hails from Guizhou and came to Yongkang to work. The suspect is also from Guizhou.

The person who apprehended the suspect was He Xiaodong, a member of the local Chema River Village patrol team. He said: "At the time, I happened to be driving past the scene when the couple struggled to escape from the third floor. They hadn't even walked 50 meters out of the first-floor gate when they collapsed due to excessive blood loss. Subsequently, I and several villagers cautiously made our way to the third floor where we saw the murderer standing at the door with a knife in his hand. We quickly overpowered and arrested him."

The police stated that during the interrogation, the suspect repeatedly muttered: "Someone wants to kill me, someone wants to kill me."

Currently, the nephew of the Guizhou couple is traveling from Shandong to Jinhua Yongkang and is expected to arrive by noon tomorrow.

After the incident, Yongkang Public Security Bureau attached great importance to the case and is concentrating all its resources to solve it. Reporters from China News Service will continue to follow up on this matter. (End)
