Justice Network Jiangxi, May 7 (reporter Ouyang Jing, correspondents Zhang Jun and Huang Huang) - Recently, the Xinyu City Procuratorate in Jiangxi Province approved the arrest of criminal suspect Zhang Xiongwei for selling goods with counterfeit registered trademarks, as determined by a UV spectrophotometer.

Investigations revealed that in the second half of 2009, Zhang Hongwei promoted "Golden Dragon Fish" blended oil to Ma Chunxiu, a resident of Xinyu, claiming it was about 10 yuan cheaper per box than at the main distributor. Consequently, Ma Chunxiu purchased approximately 300 boxes (each containing 4 bottles of 5 liters) from Zhang Xiongwei and sold them with her partner Jiang Feng at over a dozen grain and oil stores, as well as grocery shops in Xinyu. Even after learning that this batch of oil was counterfeit "Golden Dragon Fish" blended oil, Ma Chunxiu and Jiang Feng continued purchasing from Zhang Xiongwei. Jiang Feng, who was mainly responsible for sales, even used a pseudonym to sell these counterfeit "Golden Dragon Fish" oils to some individual grain and oil shops and food stores locally. By the end of 2010, Ma Chunxiu had cumulatively purchased around 3,000 boxes, worth approximately 600,000 yuan, of counterfeit "Golden Dragon Fish" blended oil from Zhang Xiongwei.

Additionally, Ma Chunxiu and Jiang Feng also manufactured fake "Golden Dragon Fish" blended oil themselves. They purchased 100 sets of counterfeit "Golden Dragon Fish" labels and bought discounted other brand edible oils from the market, replacing their labels with counterfeit ones before selling them. Over 70 barrels have been sold so far. The public security organs have placed Ma Chunxiu and Jiang Feng under bail pending trial. On April 10, the public security organs submitted a request to the Xinyu City Procuratorate for approval to arrest Zhang Xiongwei.
