Mom's Dead to Me: Noah, a 29-year-old clinician, has recently been fired. Dejected, he returns home only to find that his mother, along with her five dogs, has suddenly come to rely on him. Now the house is unbearably noisy. Besides frantically searching for a new job, Noah also has to deal with his wife who desperately wants a child, and his overly critical mother who nitpicks everything. This tangled mess of a life leaves him almost breathless. Dax Shepard, who gained fame for his role in *Vagabond Planet*, will play the thoroughly unlucky head of the household in this film, besieged by troubles both inside and outside the home.
