Bosch Washing Machine Automatic Power-off Switch
The automatic power-off switch is mostly used in fully automatic washing machines. It can be used manually to complete the connection and disconnection of power, and can also be controlled by an electronic program controller. After the entire program of the washing machine is completed, it automatically cuts off the power. Common failures of automatic power-off switches include:
(1) The power cannot be connected after pressing the button. This phenomenon is caused by poor contact of the contacts, and the contacts should be polished and repaired.
(2) The power cannot be disconnected after pressing the button. This failure is caused by the contacts being burned and stuck together. It should be polished clean with sandpaper. If the fault cannot be eliminated after treatment, the automatic power-off switch should be replaced.
(3) Cannot automatically cut off power. In addition to mechanical reasons, it is generally because the electromagnetic coil is burned out or open-circuited, resulting in the inability to attract the armature, so the contacts cannot be disconnected. At this time, only the electromagnet or the entire switch can be replaced.
